About the Stumptown Hybrid Mattress in a box
The Stumptown Hybrid is a combination of traditional spring mattress and cooling gel memory foams. The individual pocket coil system provides sturdy, durable support. The American-made gel memory foam layers provide pressure point relief and the exact amount of “give” you need while not sacrificing on support. Shipping for orders from within Oregon and Washington is 1-4 days, and 2-6 days for our friends outside the Pacific Northwest. If you experience any manufacturer defects within 10 years of your purchase, we will gladly replace your mattress.
All Stumptown mattresses will work well on most traditional support systems including a foundation/box, a slatted wood platform bed or a metal platform bed. We do not recommend placing your mattress directly on the floor in cold, wet climates as it increases the risk for mold.
Your mattress will expand within a few hours of being taken out of the box. It may look a little wonky at first, but it will begin to even out as it settles. We needed a couple mattresses for a small studio near Seattle and sleeping in the shadow of Ranier, drew us to Stumptown under the same shadow. We placed the order and two mattresses were delivered two days later. We were able to unbox and sleep on the same day, mattresses are comfy for myself-side sleeper, spouse-back sleeper. Two week now and seem more comfy every night.
BIGGER PERSON SIDE NOTE-AS A larger person sleeping on a twin xl, the blankets seem to slide/shuffle OFF due to lack of mattress ledge” to hold them in place (thankfully I’m up 2-3 times a night to pee so I can reshuffle🙄).

My previous mattress was a Purple, which was great, but I needed something a little more firm. This mattress has helped me with my hip and back pain and has been a fantastic purchase. I would like to know if FULL XL is available and which mattresses or is it a special order? I'm not certain of the model I want, yet--if you already have one, or will make one for me, then that will help me choose. It's the 80" length we need, but not the width of a Q or T.
